FAQs

​

  1. Can I still RSVP? The deadline to RSVP was Monday, January 12. Please email dpaulsen@iowarad.com to be added to the waitlist. We hit capacity at our venue!
     

  2. Will there be a dinner? Yes, we will have a catered meal. Take a look at the menu down below!
     

  3. Will there be a bar? Yes, and it is hosted for beer, wine, and our signature drink, the Purple Pulse. Please enjoy responsibly. 
     

  4. What time does it start? Our cocktail hour will start promptly at 6pm in the Upper Level. We do not have access prior to 6pm. Last call at 9:30pm.
     

  5. Where do I park? There is a parking ramp and parking will be comped for those who park in the ramp. There is also street parking with meters (parking is on your own). When you park in the ramp, follow the instructions provided through the posted QR codes.
     

  6. What is the attire? Please dress as festively as you would like. We will be taking lots of pictures throughout the night!
     

  7. Will there be food for people with dietary restrictions? Yes, there will be both vegetarian and vegan options available. Chefs will be onsite to answer any allergen questions. 
     

  8. Are there any required activities? We ask that you enjoy any and all parts of the exhibits open to our team during our special facility buyout night. The only event you are required to take part in is dinner and the address by our leader, Kent Lehr. Otherwise, you are free to roam about the center and leave when you would like.

9:30pm — Bar last call *Be sure to get your employee gift when you head out; must be present to receive

Exhibits open to guests (Main and Upper): 6-7pm and 8-10pm
Scheduled Programs (optional)

  • 8:15pm Iowa Skies Tonight (30 min, Star Theater, Upper Level)

  • 9pm Zap!  Investigate the world of electrons and electricity for a hair-raising experience! (30 min, Adventure Theater, Main Level)

  • Cosmic Playlist (Upper Level) is in the Sky Dome and available between 6-7pm and 9-10pm.

  • Parking info here and validation code (STAYRAD): Please note, you must scan the QR code found in the Parking Ramp and complete the required information. The coupon code STAYRAD will give you a 100% discount on parking.
